Put the bread ingredients to knead until you get a good crust to spread. If necessary, add extra flour or water, so that it is neither too hard nor too soft.

Spread the dough on a surface powdered with flour, put onions everywhere.

Put the bread in the oven heated to 180 degrees and remove when browned.

Onion tea

Onion tea is not exactly a tea, it is actually an onion stew, but, because all the drinks that the Romanian drinks when it is cold are called either & # 8222 tea & # 8221 or & # 8222syrup & # 8221, it will- I continue to tell him the name chosen by his predecessors. I don't want you to confuse this post with & # 8222doctor's advice & # 8221 because it's not. It's not even a recommendation, the recommendation is to look for a doctor when you have a cold / illness. The post is about how you can turn onion tea (if you get to it, as my family sometimes does) into a less unpleasant experience. I remember one of my childhood colds, a cold in which the cough did not come off me, a very excruciating cold. My mother got rid of the cough with onion tea. Then he did it in other years, and for my brothers. So did the grandmothers or mothers of other children I knew. I've been doing it for a few days now, with results, for my wife who can't take medication. So, we have onions, how do we proceed?

The onion stew is good, if you put some more things next to it and turn it into soup. You can't do that in this case, although if I think about it now, an onion soup might have the qualities that tea has. Finally, I do not insist. Here is the tea:

Wash 2-3 onions well and peel them (you can keep the first shirt near the core). Cut them in half and boil them in a liter of water. Keep on low heat until it drops to half.

Turn off the heat, squeeze half a lemon in the pot, you can even put a slice of lemon there. Add a few mint leaves. After the tea cools down a bit, sweeten it with honey. That's about all you have to do to mask the taste of boiled onions, which are not to everyone's liking (very rarely to the liking of children and most of the adults I know, crooked nose).

Four cups a day, get rid of cough in 2-3 days. If you have severe seizures, onion tea will calm them down quickly and you will be able to catch your breath. To be healthy.

  • 2 medium-sized red onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter, 150 ml warm water

Method of preparation:

Prepare the yeast the night before. Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar, 300 g of flour and 20 g of yeast in 150 ml of warm water. We leave it on the kitchen counter overnight.

In the morning, dissolve the remaining yeast in 150 ml of milk. Sift 500 g of wheat flour into a bowl. Add the two dissolved yeast and 1.5 teaspoons of salt.

Peel the onions and cut them into thin slices. Add the onion slices and butter to the mixture of ingredients. Knead the dough, cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise for about an hour in a warm place.

After the dough has doubled in volume, transfer it to the worktop sprinkled with flour and divide it into 5 pieces. We shape each piece of dough in a round ball, to give shape to the bread.

We lined a tray with baking paper. Sprinkle each ball of dough with flour and cut it into 4, in the shape of a cross.Cover the dough balls with a clean cloth and let them rise for about 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place a heat-resistant container with water on the bottom of the oven. During baking, the water will evaporate.

Put the bread tray in the oven. Bake the bread for 10 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees, then reduce the oven temperature to 200 degrees. Leave the bread in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
