INGREDIENT:

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Peel and wash the onion. Cut it into cubes and fry it in oil until golden brown, stirring frequently. It should not burn, but suffocate in oil.

2. Pour 100 ml of warm milk into a bowl. Add sugar and dry yeast. Stir and let the composition rest for 20 minutes in a warm place. The yeast must activate and become frothy.

3. Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Add salt and mix.

4.Add the activated yeast composition, the remaining milk and cream to room temperature. Mix with a spoon.

5. Add the fried onion and oil and mix.

6. Transfer the dough to the work surface and knead it with your hands. It must be soft and non-sticky.

7. Put it in a deep bowl and cover it with cling film. Let it rise for 60 minutes.

8.Then knead it a little and shape it into a ball. Place it on the tray lined with baking paper.

9. Powder the surface of the bread with flour and, using a sharp knife, make a few shallow cuts on its surface.

10. Cover it with a clean kitchen towel, being careful not to shake the flour off it. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

11. Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes in the preheated oven to 180 ° C.

12. Take it out of the oven and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rest for a while. Then slice it and serve.

I've been doing it for a few days now, with results, for my wife who can't take medication. So, we have onions, how do we proceed?

The onion stew is good, if you put some more things next to it and turn it into soup. You can't do that in this case, although if I think about it now, an onion soup might have the qualities that tea has. Finally, I do not insist. Here is the tea:

Ingredient:

  • 800 gr wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt, 150 ml milk
  • 40 gr of fresh yeast
  • 2 medium-sized red onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter, 150 ml warm water

Method of preparation:

Prepare the yeast the night before. Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar, 300 g of flour and 20 g of yeast in 150 ml of warm water. We leave it on the kitchen counter overnight.

In the morning, dissolve the remaining yeast in 150 ml of milk. Sift 500 g of wheat flour into a bowl. Add the two dissolved yeast and 1.5 teaspoons of salt.

Peel the onions and cut them into thin slices. Add the onion slices and butter to the mixture of ingredients. Knead the dough, cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise for about an hour in a warm place.

After the dough has doubled in volume, transfer it to the worktop sprinkled with flour and divide it into 5 pieces. We shape each piece of dough in a round ball, to give shape to the bread.

We lined a tray with baking paper. Sprinkle each ball of dough with flour and cut it into 4, in the shape of a cross.Cover the dough balls with a clean cloth and let them rise for about 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place a heat-resistant container with water on the bottom of the oven. During baking, the water will evaporate.

Put the bread tray in the oven. Bake the bread for 10 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees, then reduce the oven temperature to 200 degrees. Leave the bread in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.

After the bread is baked, let it cool, then we can cut it and serve. Good appetite and increase cooking!
